This ensemble is part of my design study with the artisan community tucked away in the hills in Jingdezhen, who follow traditional techniques of the ceramic craft. We decided to experiment with the saucers and a handle for a hint of western tea drinking culture.
These one-off pieces are exquisitely crafted and the beauty lies in the details of the form, glaze and functionality.
