Conducting offline classes was more comfortable in one way; we did not have to face the camera. However, with the changing time, learning how to face the camera with confidence has become not just a skill but also a necessity. So here are a few tips from my side to help you meet the camera with more confidence.

Remember, these tips are not just helpful for classes, but also crucial for you to create your brand. So, without much delay, let's get to the five T's of feeling confident in front of the camera.

Trick your brain
This point is the most simple one. Trick your brain by asking someone you are comfortable around to stand behind the camera. The presence of this person will make you more comfortable, and you will also have some assurance and moral support when you need it.

Time to stay hydrated
When you are nervous or anxious, we tend to lose focus on important things like staying hydrated. Make sure there is water within arm’s reach any given point. As soon as you feel uneasy, take a few sips of water and some deep breaths.

Take a practice shot.
Take a practice shot before the class or just practice in front of the mirror. Doing so helps your mind get a little used to the camera and also makes you more confident. Just remember, practice makes perfect.

Take the familiar route.
Try changing the location. If you are trying to shoot in an unfamiliar place, it may be more uncomfortable. So, when you begin, start with a place where you feel at home. Eventually, when you have gotten used to the camera, try switching the location, little by little.

Take it slow
You cannot go from being a camera-shy person to a professional vlogger in one day. You probably already know that, so don't be so hard on yourself when you feel uneasy in front of the camera. Just take things slow, one step at a time, and the rest will follow. Remember, however, not to give up and believe in yourself.

Lastly, I would say that believe in yourself, trust that you are good at what you do. Slowly, and gradually, facing the camera would be second nature to you like it is now to a lot of people across the globe.
